Analogue is a small group of friends, from various backgrounds, with the common interest of playing music and sharing it with others. The name of the band is a lighthearted play on the words analogue and analog. In a sense they are an analogue for the rock bands, from the 60s, 70s, and 80s whose music they cover. The music they play is, also, analog in that it comes from the amplified vibrations from their voices and their instruments and not from the manipulation of ones and zeros in a computer.
“The Fresh Paint” is a Rock ‘n’ Roll outfit with Blues, Boogie, Funk and Psychedelic Soul Fusion undertones from the Hudson Valley. Assembled by guitarist and vocalist Big John Savage, Fresh Paint is a group that channels a special kind of vibe. A vibe that gets you groovin’. Doing something that they love, something they call “Boogie Music” – a spectacular and special blend of various genres of music. They’ve cut a killer album with Paul Orofino of Millbrook Sound Studio, a sophomore release, a jam session called “the Flower” and they’re writing their next record while working on the release of a show recorded Live at Daryl’s House. With his guitar strapped on Big John contributes abundant Groove through his passionate refined touch along with Peter Pappas screaming on the guitar, held together by the far out bass grooves of Ken Williams and the tight explosive beats of Callum Benepe Fresh Paint puts forth the kind of Boogie Music that will soothe the soul.
