Susan Magnus, a Beacon, NY-based artist, will be exhibiting her work—including photo-based projects, sculptures, and drawings—at Garrison Art Center from September 21 to October 20, 2024. Her exhibition, I M A G E A F T E R, delves into themes of vulnerability, mortality, memory, and loss. Inspired by a collection of inherited family photographs and objects, the pieces in the exhibition are deeply rooted in these personal materials.

In addition, Susan will be giving an Artist Talk on Saturday, October 5, from 3 to 4 pm, and will lead two workshops on October 19—a Family Workshop and an Adult Workshop.

Please let me know if you’re interested in interviewing Susan or attending one of the workshops. A press release in Word and as a PDF is attached, and select images are available via Dropbox (link below).
