National Weather Services (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area beginning Tuesday, January 31 at 10:00 am until Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm. The NWS warns of possibility of slippery roads.

- Locations impacted include interior southern Connecticut.
Mostly clear, with a low around 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light west after midnight.
Light snow, mainly after 8am. High near 29. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
A fifty percent chance of light snow, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 33 by 11pm. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
