Due to the impending Winter Snow Storm:

Village of Brewster Offices/Court

Tuesday March 14, 2017

The offices are expected to reopen at 8:30 A.M. for normal business Wednesday March 15, 2017

Note: Circumstances may delay reopening depending on the actual severity of the storm.

Notice states:



A State of Emergency is hereby declared in the Village of Brewster for a period of time beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the date of March 14th, 2017 and continuing in effect for a period not to exceed (5) five days and ending at 12:01 a.m. on the date of March 18th, 2017.

The State of Emergency has been declared in the area or areas outlined below due to the emergency produced by Pending Snow Storm

Village wide as per pending snow storm and removal of snow following the event. Due to the impending storm Winter Parking Rules, will be extended till 12:0’1 a.m. March 1e,2017 As well as no parking on side streets village wide. Vehicles parked on the street arc subject to being towed

Such conditions threaten or imperil the public safety of the citizens of the Village of Brewster I, James J Schoenia, have exercised the authority given to me under New York State Executive Law, Article 2-B, to preserve the public safety and hereby render all required an available assistance vital to security, well-being and heath of the citizens of the community.
