Local student needs your help to help homeless

Barbara Mueller posted the following note on Facebook:

My daughter Jenna Mueller is sending Christmas cards to a men’s homeless shelter in White Plains. She thought it would be nice if each resident could have 1 gift to open on Christmas morning. While she wished we could give each one a shirt I explained that would be a stretch, we came up with giving 1 new pair of socks for each resident, 85 in total.

I am reaching out to all my family and friends to help us with Jenna’s mission. If you could donate 1 pair of warm winter socks (the largest you can find) it would help us reach our goal of 85 gifts for these men. With each pair of new socks Jenna will write out a card and wrap candy for their Christmas morning surprise.

I will need all donations by Saturday December 10th.

If you are interested in helping Jenna spread some holiday cheer, email Barbara at [email protected].
